$TRUTH The first complete hour after the pullback showed a recovery, but I’m still cautious and staying on the sidelines for now. I’m not yet treating it as a renewed acceleration. Price reclaimed one of the levels lost that I highlighted in the previous article, while another former high still hasn’t held into the close. Trading volume also fell markedly, so it’s worth distinguishing between “a rebound has appeared” and “support has recovered.”

At 07:03 Beijing time on October 14, TRUTHUSDT was quoted at 0.019714, up 30.315% over the rolling 24 hours, with approximately 65.83 million USDT in trading volume. It ranked second among 523 fully qualified USDT perpetual contracts. The rolling gain provides the backdrop for this analysis; what really changes the short-term outlook is the 06:00–07:00 candle that just closed.

The previous article recorded a close of 0.018948 for 05:00–06:00, on 10.88 million USDT in volume, after a high-volume pullback that lost 0.019742 and 0.018965. The new hourly candle opened at 0.018943 and closed at 0.019620, up about 3.57%, with a low of 0.018700 and a high of 0.019828. The low did not extend down to 0.017807, and the close moved back above 0.018965. Both are signs that a recovery is underway.

However, the high crossed 0.019742, while the close remained below it. In other words, price tested the upside, but there is not yet evidence that it can hold above that level through a full hourly close. The cautious view from the previous article has been partly borne out: the lower lost level has been reclaimed, while the higher former high remains untested. An intraday touch alone is not enough to declare a confirmed breakout.

What gives me more pause is trading volume. Volume for 06:00–07:00 was about 4.48 million USDT, down 58.84% from the previous hour. A recovery can happen with lower participation, but this does not confirm that demand has returned to its earlier strength. For now, it is more appropriate to describe this rebound as a recovery on declining volume. Trading volume measures total activity; its decline should not be described as net capital outflow, nor does it identify which side was buying or selling.

At 07:00, OI was about 574 million tokens, up approximately 0.20% from 572.8 million at 06:00—a very small change. The price recovery coincided with a slight increase in contract exposure, but there is not enough evidence to characterize it as a large influx of new long positions. The latest available settled funding rate was still positive at 0.040504% for 04:00. There is no new settlement point for 07:00, so the old rate should not be used to infer a sudden change in costs during this hour.

The complete 00:00–04:00 four-hour candle, up 9.02% on 28.28 million USDT in volume, remains a fact about the earlier phase. Only three hourly candles of the 04:00–08:00 period have closed so far, including both a spike followed by a pullback and the recovery just seen. I’ll wait for the final candle to close before discussing the full four-hour result, rather than prematurely labeling this a rebound or a reversal.

TRUTH is associated with Swarm Network. After checking the project and exchange’s original materials again, I still haven’t verified a single announcement from today that directly explains this recovery. Older listing announcements and information about the project’s mechanisms can help confirm its identity, but they do not automatically explain today’s rise.

The more useful thing to watch next is whether a full hourly close can reclaim 0.019742 and then show support on a retest, before considering 0.019828 and the earlier 0.020330. On the downside, I’ll first watch whether price can hold around 0.018700 and 0.018965. If the rebound continues to fail to hold above the former high, or the low falls back toward 0.017807, I’ll remain cautious. The recovery deserves a better assessment now, but a confirmed resumption of upward progress still needs a closing-price and retest confirmation.
