A new feature on Aptos targets transaction ordering attacks: the “encrypted mempool” is now available on mainnet. Encryption is optional and hides transaction contents before execution, while the sender’s address and gas fees remain visible. Decryption takes place after the block is approved, within the same validator mechanism. The idea is to limit what MEV bots can see before execution, not to hide all network data. Do you see pre-execution privacy as a priority for DeFi transactions?
