Binance ends six years of crypto mining

Binance will shut down Binance Pool and several services related to crypto mining on November 10, 2026, at 07:00 UTC. Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, and Transaction Accelerator will also disappear. The exchange is already asking miners to redirect their machines to another pool. Binance has given no specific financial or regulatory reason, simply citing a regular review of its products and services.

Cloud Mining, Pool Savings, and Transaction Accelerator will also disappear.

Miners will need to reconfigure their machines before the shutdown.

Binance shuts down its crypto mining pool after six years

The decision brings an end to a service launched on April 27, 2020. Binance Pool started with Bitcoin mining and an FPPS model designed to distribute earnings more regularly among participants. Like other Bitcoin mining pools, it allows crypto miners to combine their computing power and smooth out their rewards.

Six years later, Binance is shutting it all down. Starting November 10 at 07:00 UTC, the Stratum addresses and the various connection points used by machines will be deactivated. Any computing power submitted after that time will no longer be accepted, processed, or credited.

The shutdown affects more than just the crypto pool. Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, hashrate alerts sent via Telegram, some email notifications, and mining-related APIs are also included.

Links to Binance Pool will disappear from the website that same day. However, the pages will remain accessible until November 24 at 07:00 UTC so users can check their history, accounts, and payment status. After that, they will become permanently inaccessible.
