$TRUTH The narrowing range noted in the previous post has broken upward. I’m upgrading the assessment to a resumption of the advance, but I still wouldn’t chase here. The latest hourly candle continued to close higher, while volume was nearly half that of the breakout hour. The next step is to test support near the old high, rather than assume the continuation means another acceleration.
At 05:02 Beijing time on October 14, Binance TRUTHUSDT perpetual was quoted at 0.019926, up 36.283% over the rolling 24 hours, with about 52.79 million USDT in volume. It ranked second among all 523 eligible USDT perpetual contracts. The 05:00–06:00 candle is not complete, so the current quote is not a substitute for its close.
The 03:00 post focused on progressively lower highs and higher lows, while waiting for 0.018609 and 0.018766 to be reclaimed. From 03:00 to 04:00, price closed at 0.019025 from 0.018496, up about 2.86%. The high was 0.019742, and volume was 8.54 million USDT, about 95.15% more than the 4.38 million from 02:00–03:00. The close moved above the previous upper range, breaking the sequence of lower highs as well. The upward move that had not yet appeared in the previous post has now occurred.
From 04:00 to 05:00, price closed at 0.019756 from 0.019030, up another 3.82%. The low was 0.018965 and the high was 0.019955. The low was clearly higher than the 0.018320 low from 03:00–04:00, and the close edged above the newly formed 0.019742 high. The first hourly candle after the breakout held its position above the range, supporting a resumption of the advance. But the close was only slightly above the old high, so confirmation is still needed after a pullback.
Volume in this hour was about 4.61 million USDT, down 46.1% from the 8.54 million in 03:00–04:00. The latest continuation is therefore a low-volume advance; the previous hour’s high-volume label should not be carried forward. Maintaining a higher price on lower volume could reflect easing selling pressure, or it could mean weaker participation from buyers chasing the price. Whether volume and the close improve together on the next approach to 0.019955 should help distinguish between these possibilities.
The four-hour candle from 00:00 to 04:00 is also complete: it closed at 0.019025 from 0.017451, up about 9.02%, on 28.28 million USDT in volume, up 127.1% from the 12.45 million in 20:00–00:00. The two equal-length windows show that participation did expand, and the four-hour candle retained its gains. However, the latest short-term volume has pulled back, and four-hour strength cannot replace evidence of support in the next hourly candle. The 04:00–08:00 candle has only just begun, so I won’t prejudge its close.
The latest open-interest data available this round is only through 04:00: OI was about 559.5 million tokens, up about 0.86% from 554.7 million at 03:00, but still slightly below the 561.8 million at 01:00. The 05:00 reading is not yet available, so it’s not possible to tell whether OI increased during the latest 04:00–05:00 rise, let alone call that hour a net inflow of new long positions. This data gap does not prevent describing the completed price and volume action, but it limits conclusions about what drove it.
The new settlement funding rate at 04:00 was positive 0.040504%, slightly below the positive 0.041572% at midnight. The payment direction has not changed. This indicates that longs paid shorts at that settlement point; the positive rate alone does not confirm a short squeeze, nor does it support the conclusion that funding costs are rising further.
TRUTH is associated with Swarm Network. After rechecking primary project and exchange sources, I found no single announcement from today that directly explains the latest advance. The old listing announcement confirms the project’s identity; the new information here is the break from the narrowing range, increased volume over the completed four-hour window, and the subsequent low-volume continuation. I won’t force an old announcement into the explanation as a cause.
Next, first watch whether 0.019742 holds through a pullback in a completed hourly candle, then whether the close reclaims 0.019955. Below, watch 0.018965 and 0.018320. If price repeatedly falls back into the old range, or rising volume still fails to push the close higher, I’ll downgrade the breakout’s durability. There is evidence that the advance has resumed, but its persistence still needs to be demonstrated by subsequent support.
