$ZEC What’s giving me the biggest headache right now is that even when a project makes progress, the price doesn’t necessarily respond.

Take the NU7 upgrade in particular. The community has been discussing it for ages, and the target block interval is planned to shrink from 75 seconds to 25 seconds. It sounds impressive, but I’d bet plenty of people started calling it bullish before they even understood what the upgrade actually does.

What worries me more is this: once the upgrade is actually rolled out, if ZEC doesn’t go up, will everyone start blaming the team again?

This happens all the time in crypto. As soon as the news breaks, people go wild speculating. Then, when it officially launches, the money that got in early takes the opportunity to cash out.

And faster block production doesn’t mean the wallet experience will instantly get three times better. Exchange confirmation rules, network stability, wallet support—all of that needs to keep up too.

I’m looking forward to this Zcash upgrade, but I don’t want to treat it as a guarantee of profit.

Next, I’ll be watching the official upgrade results and how it performs in real-world use after launch. As for trading, if the price pulls back after the good news is priced in, I’d actually rather wait patiently.

After all, I don’t want to be the person who rushes in at the first sign of good news, only to end up holding the bag for someone else.
