The $2,500 level has been a battleground for days. Tonight, ETH moved up to it again, then pulled back.

What really matters isn’t this bit of price action—it’s where the money is going. Spot Ethereum ETFs have seen net outflows for nine consecutive trading days. In other words, around this price level, institutional funds have recorded net inflows on virtually none of those days. Nine trading days isn’t just a day or two of sentiment; it’s a sustained vote with their feet. With buyers on the sidelines, the price is naturally stuck—unable to break higher or fall much further.

But not all the on-chain news is bad. Some data shows that whale wallets have been adding to their positions during this period, and network activity is also picking up. ETF money is flowing out on one side, while large holders are quietly buying on the other. With these opposing forces, $2,500 has become a particularly contested level. This kind of uncertainty about which way the price will go often appears just before a direction is chosen.

So here’s my question: Is this level a bottom where investors are accumulating enough, or just a stopover before the next leg down? Would you add to your position at this price, or step aside and wait?

Which side are you on?
