How is BNB burned?
The amount burned by Auto-Burn each quarter is calculated using a formula, based mainly on the price of BNB and the number of blocks produced by BNB Smart Chain during the quarter.
BEP-95’s real-time burn mechanism went live with the Bruno hard fork at the end of 2021. It is separate from quarterly Auto-Burn.
