Why do different data websites show different market caps for the same coin?
My understanding: High trading volume usually means deeper order books, so large trades have less slippage; however, keep in mind that some platforms may engage in wash trading.
Market cap is usually the current price multiplied by the circulating supply. It’s the most commonly used figure for comparing the size of different coins.
