Before talking about capital, first understand RSI.
The RSI of the same coin often reads quite differently across timeframes: when the 4-hour chart is overbought, the larger timeframe may still be in a neutral position.
In a strong uptrend, RSI can stay above 70 for quite a while; in a sustained downtrend, it can also remain below 30 for a long time. Overbought and oversold do not mean an immediate reversal.
The same reading can have very different meanings in different market environments, so don’t rigidly apply a single experience.
