Just sharing a thought: I came across “Solana’s Alpenglow consensus upgrade will go live on mainnet on October 21, reducing finality time to around 150 milliseconds,” and it reminded me of when I first got into crypto.
Back then, whenever I saw news like this, I’d want to jump straight in. A few times, I ended up buying near the emotional peak and selling near the bottom.
These days, my routine is: read the original source first, wait to see how the market reacts, and only then decide whether to make a move. I’ll do the same this time, too.$SOL
At the end of the day, what I fear most isn’t getting it wrong—it’s letting a piece of news dictate my positions.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
