I just opened a long position on GNS at 0.48, with a stop-loss at 0.44 and an initial target of 0.6. The reason is simple: trading volume suddenly surged to 1M, and the price is up 44%. That kind of volume-price action isn’t something retail traders can generate. According to Binance’s real-time data, altcoins are getting hit across the board today: VANRY is down 37%, SXP nearly 39%, and HARD is off 40%. GNS is the only one stubbornly pushing against the trend. I don’t need to spell out where the money’s flowing, do I?
But honestly, I’ve been burned by coins that surge like this. Last time I chased a rally, I got trapped and only managed to get out after taking a 20% loss. So this time, I’m keeping my position very small and my stop-loss tight. I’d rather make less than lose more.
CTK, on the other hand, has been holding steady today. Gold is moving sideways at 2360, oil is at 82, and the Nasdaq is up a modest 0.3%—the overall environment isn’t bad. After this wave of altcoin declines, the ones that survive will probably bounce. GNS is just the first to do so.
Don’t go in heavy, and don’t hold on to losing positions. Trade with the trend. If you want to get in, check the order book directly at $GNS or $CTK . I’m staying away from crashers like $VANRY for now; I’ll wait for it to stabilize.
The above is only my personal opinion and does not constitute investment advice.
