Will September CPI lift oil and bonds? #CPIWatch

Tensions in the Middle East are driving up oil prices and energy costs in the U.S. Markets expect CPI to come in above 2.9%.

My analysis:
šŸ”¹ Oil BZUSDT: Up 4% this week. If CPI comes in higher than expected, I expect the rally to continue toward $80. I’ll reduce risk in my position ahead of the release, and I used the trade-sharing card to increase my chances.

šŸ”¹ Bonds TBT, TMFUSDT, and RWUSD: A high reading could revive bets on a Fed rate hike before year-end and put pressure on bond yields. We’ve seen TBT rise 3.1%, with TMFUSDT rising alongside it. I’ll adjust my trades in RWUSD and TBT with hedging positions.

The chart shows CPI rising from 2.4% to 2.9%, alongside gains in oil and bonds, which supports my view.

What do you think? Will CPI come in higher than expected? Will oil continue to rise? And where are Treasury bonds headed?
