While much of the community highlights Sui’s speed, scalability, and innovative technology, there are several factors that could become obstacles to its long-term growth. This is not to claim that the project is doomed to fail, but rather to examine aspects that typically receive less attention.

One of Sui’s main risks is its relative degree of centralization. The network uses a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) system in which a limited set of validators processes transactions and maintains consensus. Each validator’s weight depends on the amount of SUI staked, which can favor actors with greater resources and concentrated capital. (Follow me $SUI )
