Many scam tokens include website names or phrases like “Claim rewards” in their names to lure people into visiting fake websites.
In other words, the valuation shown in a wallet is generally calculated using quotes from on-chain liquidity pools. Scam tokens’ prices can easily be artificially inflated, so don’t take the displayed figures at face value.
