For thousands of years, humanity has continually changed its rulers, systems, and forms of organization, yet it has never fully resolved how power should be transferred, how wealth should be distributed, or how those in power should confront their own uncontrollable fate.
In highly centralized power structures, individual fates are often closely tied to the stability of the entire system. During periods of growth, the system can offer protection. But when circumstances change, the relationships, rules, and structures of interest within that same system can also shift rapidly.
In the coming years, we’ll dig even deeper. This system of balance has remained unchanged for two thousand years.
I guess that makes me a political prophet, doesn’t it? Don’t get involved with any politicians lightly. In the next few years, the power grinder will only get bloodier.
