Latest data: $S | Breaking through the 0.07 level
Definition: Just like other round-number levels, the rounder the number, the more people tend to watch it. For example, major levels such as 10,000 or 100,000 attract more attention than ordinary whole numbers.
What to look for: It’s not uncommon for prices to break through a level and then fall back below it. That’s why many people prefer to wait for the closing price to hold above the level before taking it seriously, rather than following the move the moment it breaks through.
Indicators can be wrong, so don’t skip your stop-loss: Deciding in advance what to do if you’re wrong matters more than whether your prediction is accurate.
