The large-holder long/short ratios for all three coins moved up today, with one hitting a seven-day high.

BTC 1.4789 → 1.6261, with the share of large-holder accounts holding longs rising from 59.66% to 61.92%.
ETH 2.0102 → 2.1556, from 66.78% to 68.31%.
SOL 2.6914 → 2.7078, from 72.91% to 73.03%.

The seven-day path, 10-07 to 10-13:
BTC 1.1796 → 1.7739 → 2.0030 → 1.5452 → 1.5400 → 1.4789 → 1.6261
ETH 1.5361 → 2.4819 → 2.5625 → 2.1506 → 2.1377 → 2.0102 → 2.1556
SOL 1.8058 → 2.3289 → 2.6470 → 2.6101 → 2.6684 → 2.6914 → 2.7078

On 10-09, all three coins hit their period highs at the same time. BTC’s large-holder ratio was 2.0030 that day, and BTC closed at $82,635.
BTC and ETH haven’t returned to those levels since. SOL is the exception: it held above 2.61 for four trading days and set a new seven-day high today.

At the same time, prices moved in the opposite direction.

BTC $83,382, +0.27%.
ETH $2,502, -1.46%.
SOL $106.33, -3.93%.

The large-holder share is rising while two of the coins are falling.

SOL’s pattern is the clearest. Its long-position share has climbed in one direction for four days since 10-10, with no pullbacks:
10-10 72.30% → 10-11 72.74% → 10-12 72.91% → 10-13 73.03%
Over the past 24 hours, the price moved from $110.68 to $106.33.

This isn’t a pattern caused by short-side pressure. When shorts are exerting pressure, the long-position share tends to fall. Here, it’s holding steady and moving up.

There’s an even more telling detail in BTC.
The difference between the large-holder long-position share and the all-account long-position share:
10-07 +1.42 → 10-08 +1.13 → 10-09 +1.55 → 10-10 +0.97 → 10-11 +0.93 → 10-12 +1.11 → 10-13 +1.90

Today’s 1.90 percentage points is the widest gap in seven days. The previous high was 1.55 on 10-09.
The all-account share is also moving up today, from 58.55% to 60.02%, but large holders are more extreme.

Same direction, but a much stronger move.

Sentiment hasn’t caught up. The Fear and Greed Index is at 57, compared with 59 four days ago and 69 yesterday.

Trading volume is shrinking. BTC’s 24-hour trading volume is $1.316 billion.
10-12’s full-day volume was 13,530 BTC; 10-11’s was just 6,964 BTC.
Open interest rose from 92,378 to 93,419, up 1.13%.

Key levels. Above: $84,168, today’s high. Below: $81,034, today’s low; the low on 10-09 was $81,604.
SOL’s high today was $110.81; its low was $101.69.

Three levels to watch.
First, whether BTC’s large-holder long/short ratio gets above 2.00. It has only touched that level once in seven days: 2.0030 on 10-09. After that, the price surged to $83,773 over two days before falling back to $81,850.
Second, whether the gap between large holders and all accounts can narrow back to 1.55 or less. The wider the gap, the narrower the price range.
Third, SOL’s long/short ratio of 2.7078 is a seven-day high, but today the price fell from $110.81 to $106.33, closing near the day’s low. A new high in the long/short ratio alongside a lower close is the biggest point of divergence.

The first tells us the cost of leverage, the second whether there are buyers stepping in, and the third what this batch of long positions is waiting for.
