Bitcoin’s holding steady at 83K, like an old dog. The majors are all lying flat: Solana and Dogecoin are down 4 points in a day, ETH is down 2. The altcoin crowd is running its own casino.

On the gainers’ board, $OGN volume hit $220 million, and it’s up 27%—but it’s already pulled back 9 points from its high. The guys who chased the top yesterday are probably staying very quiet today. $Q has taken over, up 22% and hugging its highs; its setup is much cleaner than OGN’s.

The losers’ board is where the real bloodbath is: ARC got cut in half, with a whole row of coins down 30–40 points behind it. This is a two-extremes market now: either +20% or -30%. There’s no room to stand in between.

The read is simple: if Bitcoin keeps moving sideways, it’s just existing capital passing money around between altcoins, with a new hot coin every day. Chasing highs means catching a falling knife. If you want to get in, you can only wait for coins that haven’t had their turn yet, or wait for the leaders to pull back.

I’m not catching this ARC knife. I’ll grab a chair and watch the show, then make a move when Q’s pullback looks right.
