South Korea welded shut 27 back doors

South Korea’s Financial Intelligence Unit has now pulled the plug on the internet too: it shut down the websites of all 27 unregistered foreign exchanges, and directly suspended services operated within the country. After blocking the apps, they realized people could still use browsers, so they had to seal up that gap too.

One door after another is being blocked. The money hasn’t disappeared—it’s just been driven back into a few small pools at home. Once those pools get shallower, the premium naturally kicks in, and in the end, it’s the quick-fingered people in front of their screens who get left holding the bag.

For those of you sitting on the kimchi premium, when the spread hits five points, are you adding to your position or cashing out?
