$S There’s something here.

It jumped 4.31% in 15 minutes, with volume reaching 4.7 times normal and a Z-score of 6.5. This doesn’t look like a fake move from a random little poke. The price closed above the upper end of the last 20 five-minute ranges, effectively breaking through the short-term structure.

OI is rising in sync—up 1.76% over 15 minutes and 3.68% over one hour, with notional exposure flowing in across both timeframes. Price up + OI up: I’m more inclined to read this as new leveraged longs entering than shorts getting squeezed. Notional change ranks 37 across the whole pool, at the 67.3rd anomaly percentile. It’s not the most extreme reading, but combined with this volume, it’s worth watching.

The one thing that tempers my enthusiasm is the aggressive trade delta at -7.6%, with a buy/sell ratio of 0.86. The price has rallied this hard, but aggressive buying is relatively weak. That suggests some of the move came from resting orders getting lifted, and the willingness to chase hasn’t fully caught up yet. If this divergence doesn’t resolve on the next 15-minute candle, there’s a decent chance of a pullback after the spike.

With $104M in 24-hour trading volume, liquidity is deep; this isn’t a small pool where the chart can be easily painted. My approach: don’t chase this candle. Wait for a retest and see whether the price can hold the range’s former upper boundary. If it stabilizes there, then consider joining the move. If price immediately engulfs this green candle’s body on heavy volume, just treat the move as if it never happened.

Just my personal observation—not financial advice.
