Damn, SNDK really got hammered today.

I checked my account this afternoon and saw -8.87%. In 24 hours, it got slammed from 1,560 straight down to 1,410. Sell orders made up 74% of the order book, while buy orders were only 25%—a classic leveraged liquidation cascade.

Why the crash? Put simply, nothing happened to SNDK itself—the entire Asian semiconductor market got crushed. SK Hynix, Micron, and SOXL were all plunging. The chain reaction sent total market liquidations over the past 24 hours soaring past $800 million. SNDK perpetuals alone saw $19.09 million liquidated—more than XRP or HYPE. Binance accounted for half of all liquidations, and the biggest single one was a $9.65 million BTC long that got wiped out.

Basically, chip stocks had rallied way too hard over the past couple of months. At the end of September, SNDK surged 21% in a single day, and Micron gained 15%. Leverage was piled on way too high, so the slightest tremor in the Asian session triggered a long squeeze.

The technical picture looks even worse: the price has fallen below all three moving averages—MA7, MA25, and MA99—and Supertrend has turned red. It’s down nearly 20% over the past 90 days. 1,410 is today’s low; if that breaks, the next level to watch is 1,300. Resistance on a bounce is at 1,570 (MA7) and 1,660 (Supertrend).

Here’s what I did: I didn’t dare buy the dip during the morning sell-off. Trying to catch a falling knife in a liquidation cascade is asking to get wrecked. I didn’t chase the short either—this is a tokenized stock, after all, so the real direction depends on how SanDisk trades when the U.S. market opens tonight. This move in the Asian session is all sentiment-driven. If you’re looking to buy the dip, wait until the U.S. market opens and see whether it can hold above 1,400. And keep your position size very, very small—don’t bet on a bottom with heavy leverage.

What do you think? Has this drop created an opportunity, or are we only halfway down? Let’s talk in the comments.
