$300 million in USDC deposited on AAVE—and the token price hasn’t even made a peep

I’ve said it before: on-chain data and token prices are two separate things.

AAVE V4 deposits on Circle’s Arc chain just topped $300 million—all real USDC locked up. But what about the AAVE price? It’s still sliding, showing no sign of finding support.

These people aren’t here to pump the price; they’re here to earn interest. Parking $300 million in USDC on Arc for yield is a much steadier way to make money than chasing pumps and dumps. Who cares which moving average the candlestick is tracking? People locking up funds for yield aren’t even watching the charts.

Look at tokenized stocks in the ETH ecosystem: their total market cap is $3.9 billion, an all-time high. At the start of the year, it was just $719 million—up five and a half times in nine months. Money is moving into yield-bearing assets, not piling into speculative trading. POL is stuck at $0.10, the RWA narrative is crystal clear, and on-chain capital has already arrived. Token prices are always the last thing to catch up.

Stop using candlestick charts to judge where capital is going. On-chain TVL and the scale of tokenized assets are the leading indicators—when those numbers climb, token prices just haven’t caught on yet.

Keep an eye on the increase in AAVE deposits on Arc tonight. As long as growth doesn’t slow, a catch-up rally is only a matter of time.
