Ledger pulled from European retailer’s shelves across the board
MediaMarktSaturn, parent company of MediaMarkt, has removed all Ledger products from both its stores and online, with a spokesperson saying the matter is being taken seriously. Previously, a user bought two wallets and found unauthorized cables and cellular modules stuffed inside after opening them up.
Supply-chain problems can be more damaging than leveraged positions getting liquidated. Your coins only really count when they’re in your own wallet. Prices won’t be affected in the short term, but trust in self-custody hardware could take a hit over the long term.
