The European session has opened, and all eyes are on the Strait of Hormuz.

As Iranian attacks escalate, at least 10 supertankers have turned around and fled off the coast of Fujairah, and Brent has climbed above $106. The IMF has also laid out a harsh scenario: if the Middle East is locked in a prolonged war, oil prices could stay at $130 through 2027, cutting global growth by 0.5 percentage points. In this environment, the digital gold narrative of $BTC is being brought up again, but honestly, in the early days of war it still gets hit alongside U.S. stocks; safe-haven properties are always a step slow.

$BNB does have some practical news: Binance CEO Richard Teng revealed that the company is considering opening stock trading in markets such as Hong Kong and South Korea. After competing in crypto, it’s now competing in stocks too; the imagination for exchange tokens has expanded another notch.

The on-chain situation is not calm: SkyAI dumped half of $SOL , selling 1 million tokens, and is still selling despite an unrealized loss of $160 million; an early PUMP wallet is also moving unlocked tokens to Coinbase Prime. When supply piles up on exchanges, that’s not a good short-term sign.

My view: this wave is essentially an energy-inflation trade, so don’t rush to buy the dip. Keep an eye on oil prices and U.S. stock risk appetite; the real turning point will come when a ceasefire actually happens.
