Why is Solana so fast?
Solana’s base fee is 5,000 lamports per signature, half of which is burned and half of which goes to the validator; priority fees go entirely to the validator.
Solana transactions must declare in advance which accounts they will read and write. Transactions that don’t conflict can execute in parallel, which is one reason Solana has high throughput.
$SOL is Solana’s native coin, while $BNSOL is a liquid staking token for SOL launched by Binance. Currently 107.48.
