Asian tech stocks are falling, but BTC isn't following them down.

Crypto
BTC briefly dipped to $81,033 this morning, then rebounded above $83,000 (around $83,297 as of 12:30). ETH rebounded more strongly, to around $2,509. Risk assets aren't all moving down in lockstep.
But don't rush to call a reversal: spot ETFs have seen month-to-date net outflows of about $451.7M for BTC and $720.4M for ETH. The Coinbase premium has turned negative, suggesting continued selling in the U.S. spot market. A strong dollar is also a headwind.
Key levels: Holding above $83.2k could put $83.8k to $84.2k in sight; a break below $82.0k raises the risk of a retest of $81.0k to $81.5k.

Stocks
Memory chips were the focus across Asia-Pacific today: CXMT announced a breakthrough in DRAM technology, stoking concerns about intensifying competition.
South Korea's KOSPI fell 5.46%, extending its losing streak to five days; Samsung and SK Hynix were down about 8% intraday. The Nikkei fell 1.82%, and Taiwan stocks dropped 1.95%. Mainland Chinese and Australian stocks pulled back intraday but closed flat.
Adding to the pressure, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell 2.7% overnight, while Brent crude hovered around $105, bringing inflation worries back.

What to watch tonight
U.S. markets open at 21:30. Watch the major banks' earnings, and whether the chip sell-off spreads to the Mag 7. U.S. CPI is due Wednesday; it will directly affect Treasury yields and valuations for crypto and tech stocks.

Whether crypto can keep charting its own course depends on U.S. stocks tonight and ETF flows.
