The first resistance above is the 20-day average near $84,000; watch whether a rebound can hold there. Below, support lies around $81,000–$81,500. If that gives way, the next levels to watch are the 50-day average and the 30-day low at $74,968.
2. Ethereum: The trend is weaker. The RSI has fallen to around 38, in weak territory, and the price is below both the 20-day average ($2,636) and the 50-day average ($2,556), with significant overhead resistance. Near-term support is first around $2,425, followed by the 30-day low at $2,359.
The Fear & Greed Index has fallen from 69 to 57, shifting to neutral. Of the $770 million liquidated over 24 hours, $685 million were long positions—leveraged positions chasing the rally have been heavily flushed out. Spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of around $680 million last week, and institutional buying has temporarily stalled. Elevated Treasury yields and a strong dollar remain macro headwinds.
If $81,500 holds, it could be an area to watch for an oversold bounce, but don’t rush to chase it—wait for Bitcoin to hold above $84,000 before considering an entry.
