Morgan Stanley has postponed the launch of its tokenized stock business to the first quarter of 2027. Amy Oldenburg, the bank’s head of digital asset strategy, said at Token2049 that the team is building the necessary technical infrastructure and expects to support tokenized stock trading on its alternative trading system (ATS) by the first quarter of 2027, later than the originally planned second half of 2026. She also noted that the tokenization service DTCC is launching at the end of this month and the GENIUS Act, which takes effect next January, are industry developments worth watching. Institutional adoption in the sector is accelerating.$RWA
