Strategy Adds 250 Bitcoin: Is Wall Street Still Betting on BTC?

250 BTC isn’t a staggering amount for the Bitcoin market as a whole.

But when the buyer is Strategy, it’s a different story.

Retail investors are asking themselves every day:
Is this the top? Will prices keep falling? Should I wait for a lower entry point?

Strategy, however, has always had a clear approach: keep accumulating Bitcoin and make BTC a core part of its long-term asset allocation.

With the reported purchase of another 250 BTC, the real question isn’t how much it bought, but how long this corporate Bitcoin reserve model can last.

Strategy’s approach isn’t simply about using corporate cash to buy Bitcoin.

It also involves capital market financing, stock valuation, borrowing costs, and investors’ expectations for BTC’s long-term value.

When the market is rising, this model can create a positive feedback loop.

But if BTC keeps falling and financing conditions worsen, it could also increase pressure on the company’s balance sheet.

So I don’t believe institutional buying means prices are guaranteed to rise.

What I’m more interested in is this:

When market sentiment turns sour and financing costs rise, can Strategy keep accumulating at the same pace?

True long-term conviction isn’t about having the courage to buy in a bull market.

It’s about having the ability to stick to your strategy when the winds are against you.

On the 4-hour chart, the SAR indicator remains above the candlesticks, creating strong resistance (bearish alignment). The MACD lines show signs of a bullish crossover below the zero line, but the histogram is weak—typical of either a continuation pattern in a downtrend or a volatile bottoming process. The moving averages above price (MA5/MA10) are acting as short-term resistance, and the bullish structure has yet to fully recover.
Trading approach: Primarily short, with longs as a secondary strategy. Follow the broader bearish trend and short rallies decisively when they meet resistance. Consider longs only with small positions at key prior lows (such as BTC near 81000), and only if a long lower wick or a bottom fractal appears, in an attempt to trade an oversold bounce. Strictly control position size, always use stop-losses, and never hold losing positions.
