When U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs first launched, they only allowed cash subscriptions and redemptions. In July 2025, the SEC approved in-kind subscriptions and redemptions for crypto asset ETPs.
ETF management fees are charged at an annualized rate, accrued daily from the fund’s assets and reflected in its net asset value. Investors don’t pay them separately.
