BTC fell below $82K — Panic or Buying Opportunity? 👀
The crypto market is a little red today. BTC fell to $81,988, down 2.2% over the last 24 hours. Why? Three major triggers:
1. ETF Outflows: $681 million flowed out of US spot Bitcoin ETFs last week, ending a three-week streak of inflows. When ETFs sell, it creates pressure.
2. Whale Awakening: An old whale woke up after 6 years and moved 4,582 BTC ($378M). Moves like these create fear in the market.
3. Macro Fear: South Korea’s KOSPI crashed 6%, Nasdaq futures are also down, and everyone is watching for the US CPI (inflation) data coming on Wednesday. If inflation comes in high, fears of a Fed rate hike could grow.
But there’s good news on the other side too — exchange reserves are at a 7-month low, meaning 700,000 BTC have left exchanges. Supply is lower, so if demand picks up, the price could surge quickly. And Strategy has bought another 250 BTC.
Support is currently at $81K, with resistance at $84,500. If CPI comes in soft, BTC could head straight to $86K–$87K.
New users, remember: this dip isn’t a time to panic-sell; it’s a time to learn. Understand the charts and the news before thinking about making a deposit.
What do you think — after Wednesday’s CPI report, will BTC hold $80K or break $85K? Let us know in the comments.
