$SOL bounced from 101.69 to 107.44, up 4.32% in four hours, but trading volume over the past hour was almost zero—not a drop in volume, just nobody there. This rebound came from shorts closing their positions: the funding rate is -0.0077%, which is negative, meaning shorts are still paying longs, while open interest actually rose 1.6% over 24 hours. The long/short account ratio is 2.53, so retail longs outnumber shorts by two and a half to one, and the taker buy/sell ratio is 1.39. With this kind of setup, the last thing you should do is chase longs after seeing a four-hour green candle—you’d be chasing the tail end of short covering, not fresh money coming in. There wasn’t enough volume to test that 113.4 high, so I’ll wait and see.
