Indicator Notes|$AVAX |4-hour MACD|Bearish Crossover Below the Zero Line
Definition: DIF (also called the MACD line) = 12-period EMA − 26-period EMA; DEA (also called the signal line) is calculated by applying a 9-period EMA to DIF.
How to read it: A bearish crossover above the zero line is often seen as weakening upward momentum, but does not necessarily mean a trend reversal; a bearish crossover below the zero line is often seen as a continuation of the downtrend.
Comparing several indicators is more reliable than looking at just one, but even more signals cannot provide a definitive answer.
