Kamino’s new CEO, Michael Weisz, said he wants to strengthen communication with KMNO holders and expand Kamino’s access to more platforms. According to Odaily, he made the remarks during an appearance on Blockworks co-founder Jason Yanowitz’s Empire podcast.
Weisz said he wants Kamino to become a major on-chain lending and liquidity infrastructure provider for assets, connecting asset managers with distribution platforms such as brokers and exchanges through APIs so users can access Kamino on familiar platforms. He also said the company will communicate with KMNO holders in a manner similar to a listed company, with regular updates on hiring, business partnerships, product upgrades, new assets added on-chain, and other developments, including challenges. Weisz added that nearly all of his long-term gains also come from KMNO.
