Crypto | Slow Bull Tracker | October 13
Bitcoin is still trudging along around $82K, but a few smaller coins have quietly bottomed out. The market looks a little off today: the majors have all turned red, and everything’s getting dumped, while a batch of small caps are slowly climbing against the trend.
While watching the charts, I took a closer look at the Slow Bull signal leaderboard. The takeaway is pretty clear:
Up 176% in 24h? That number nearly blinded me, but on closer inspection, funding is negative. That means the big players aren’t pumping it—retail traders are piling in and pushing it up. A move like this either keeps ripping or gets wiped out by a single wick. Way too much of a gamble; I’m not chasing it.
Up just 31%, but with only a 3.3% pullback. The lows are rising steadily, so it could be worth following with a small position.
Up 8.4%, with a 7% pullback. It’s just getting started, so I’m willing to place a limit order and test the waters.
A familiar face among the slow bulls, with 3 higher lows. A 12% pullback is still acceptable, so I’m holding.
Up 34%, with a 15% pullback. There’s some profit to take, so I’d take half off the table for now.
In short, the slow bull strategy comes down to one thing: don’t get greedy after a big run, and have the nerve to hold when the pullbacks are small. Staying put is the biggest bullish signal. When the next rotation kicks off, the ones that started climbing early will be leading the charge.
