A 22-year-old video game developer named Lucas in France's Tarn department was the victim of an armed robbery in early September, according to La Dépêche. According to Foresight News, two masked men wearing gloves entered his home through an open garage door and demanded that he transfer assets from his crypto wallet while threatening him with a gun.

Lucas resisted, and the attackers fled. He later said publicly that he had sold all of his cryptocurrency.
