You only meant to close a position—so how did you end up opening one in the opposite direction?
The reduce-only setting is worth understanding.
Many unintended reverse positions result from closing a position twice: you close it manually, then an earlier take-profit or stop-loss order is triggered, opening a new position in the opposite direction.
Once you’ve set a stop-loss, stick to it—don’t cancel it on impulse.
