BlackRock pulled $477 million in a week, and $ETH ETF has bled for 9 straight days! But on-chain whales are aggressively buying the dip! 🔥
Guys, Wall Street just dealt ETH a pretty serious cold shower this time.
According to SoSoValue data, U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs saw net outflows of $542 million last week, with BlackRock’s ETHA accounting for 88% of that!
That’s 9 consecutive trading days of net outflows, with withdrawals totaling nearly $700 million!
The most painful part is that retail investors are still waiting for ETH to break out, while ETF funds keep flowing out.
But on the other side, the on-chain picture is completely different.
According to on-chain tracking reports, a whale accumulated around 166,000 ETH over 72 hours, worth more than $400 million!
ETFs are seeing outflows while whales are buying the dip—that tug-of-war over capital is what I’m watching most closely!
And ETH ETFs still have around $13.2 billion in cumulative net inflows historically, so recent withdrawals aren’t enough to prove that all long-term capital has left.
My view is clear: acknowledge the short-term pressure, but remain bullish in the medium term!
For ETH, first watch whether it can break above $2,587 convincingly. If it holds, keep an eye on $2,700–$2,800.
Wall Street selling aggressively doesn’t mean ETH has no opportunity. What will really determine the market is whether sustained buying steps in next!
If you’re sitting on losses, don’t rush to add to your position. If you’re in profit, don’t hand it back to the market too easily.
The most interesting moves in crypto often happen when institutions and whales disagree! 🚀
