LS Electric said on Tuesday that it signed a 185.3 billion won contract, worth about $138.7 million, with U.S. power solutions provider Bloom Energy to supply switchgear and distribution transformers. According to Sina Finance, the latest deal brings LS Electric's cumulative orders from Bloom Energy since April last year to more than $500 million. Under the contract, LS Electric will provide power equipment for a data center in Pennsylvania operated by a large U.S. technology company for a fuel-cell-based on-site power generation project. The company plans to deliver 38 kV high-voltage switchgear and distribution transformers between April and July 2027.
