Guys, let’s talk about the technical picture right now. BTC is hovering around 81,500. On the daily chart, it’s still above the 50-, 100-, and 200-day moving averages, with support near 80k and resistance at 85k. ETH is between 2,450 and 2,500 and is also holding above key moving averages. There was quite a bit of volatility last week: BTC pulled back from around 87k and is now recovering. The RSI is neutral, and the MACD hasn’t fully turned bullish yet, so we could see more short-term sideways movement. CPI data is coming out soon, so be careful around the release.
Personally, I think it’s better to sell into rallies and buy on dips right now rather than chase the price up or down. If you’re trading futures, either direction is possible, but keep your position size small and set a stop-loss. For example, you could enter a BTC long at 81k, set a stop at 80k, and target 83.5k. For ETH, watch 2,500 as support; if it breaks, then look at 2,400. Are any of you positioning at these levels? I’m testing the waters with a small position myself. If BTC holds 80k, I think there’s still room for a rebound.
Don’t forget, there are always opportunities in the market—the key is managing risk. Don’t gamble with a large position. The macro outlook is uncertain right now, and geopolitical factors are also having an impact, so it’s always better to play it safe. If you’re holding spot, just keep holding and don’t get spooked by short-term moves.
