Blur’s front end shuts down on November 12
- The blur.io front end will officially shut down on November 12, 2026. The on-chain protocol will keep running, and BLUR will still hold the fee switch.
- Blend will stop matching new loans on the same day. Existing loans will either need to be repaid early or be allowed to default. After that, the team will only provide a withdrawal tool.
With the front end gone, the main entry point for retail BLUR users will basically be cut off, and secondary-market liquidity will only get thinner. For those of you with outstanding Blend loans, are you planning to repay them or just let them default?
