Damn, Wall Street spent $1.1 billion buying insurance for $BTC , while Bitcoin fell to $82,727! This shakeout actually makes me even more bullish! 🚀
Guys, Bitcoin has really been putting us through the wringer lately.
Yesterday it surged to $84,340, and just when everyone thought it was about to take off, it turned around and plunged to $82,727. Another wave of people who chased the rally got trapped.
But 10x Research revealed some data worth paying attention to.
BTC options implied volatility has fallen to 33.5%, near a five-year low!
Meanwhile, options trading data shows that some investors bought put options with a combined notional value of around $1.1 billion, with the largest purchase worth about $204 million.
Big money buying insurance doesn’t necessarily mean they’re getting out—it could also be a way to protect their long positions!
Looking at Binance futures, open interest had previously risen from $7.73 billion to $7.87 billion, an increase of $140 million.
Prices keep swinging, while leveraged positions are growing—showing that the battle between bulls and bears is still intense.
My view is clear:
I’m still bullish in the short term, but Bitcoin needs to reclaim $83,000!
If it holds above $83,000, the first target is $84,340.
After a confirmed breakout, I’m looking forward to BTC pushing toward $85,000, then attacking the potential short liquidation zone near $87,000!
The most frustrating thing about crypto is this kind of market: retail traders get shaken out, then the price turns around and starts climbing again.
I’m still on the bullish side, waiting for Bitcoin to reclaim $83,000!
