Someone asked: How do you choose between a limit order and a market order?
I usually answer like this: A large market order may be filled across multiple levels of resting orders, so the average execution price can differ from the price you saw when placing the order. This is called slippage. The thinner the order book and the larger the order, the greater the slippage on a market order tends to be; slippage is generally much lower for actively traded major pairs.
