Guys, from last night through today, liquidations have hit the market again, totaling about $345 million. Both longs and shorts got wiped out! CoinGlass data shows $193 million in long liquidations and $153 million in short liquidations, with nearly 90,000 people liquidated. BTC saw about $82 million in liquidations, ETH around $76 million, and SOL, ZEC, and others took a hit too.
The largest single liquidation was on BTC-USD on Hyperliquid, at nearly $5 million. In this kind of market, it really feels like walking a knife's edge—especially for highly leveraged futures traders. One small mistake and you can get wiped out.
I took a look, and the market is choppy, with prices moving back and forth around 84k. Traders on both sides are getting caught out. Longs were liquidated during the previous drop, and now shorts are getting liquidated in the rebound—a classic shakeout in both directions.
My personal view: be very careful with futures at these levels! I recommend keeping leverage below 5x, and ideally sticking mostly to spot. If you do trade futures, set a stop-loss and don't hold on stubbornly to losing positions. CPI and other macro events are still ahead, so volatility could increase.
Coins like $BTC $ETH $SOL , with good liquidity, can also be highly volatile. Guys, there's no end to the money you can make, but protecting your principal matters most. It's tough seeing so many people get liquidated—please manage your risk.
