Tonight’s U.S. session opened with a bang: a third supertanker was hit in the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, and anti-ship missiles were even fired toward the UAE’s Port of Fujairah. Brent crude climbed above $105, Goldman raised its year-end 2026 Brent forecast to $90, and its extreme-case outlook goes straight to $125. In this climate, the safe-haven narrative around $BTC is back in the spotlight.

Speaking of buying crypto, Saylor is seriously unwavering. Strategy snapped up another 250 BTC today for $21.5 million, and also repurchased $192 million worth of STRC preferred stock. There aren’t many players in the market willing to keep adding in conditions like these.

There’s another big event tomorrow: Pando’s Hong Kong spot Solana ETF is scheduled to list on October 13, with a 0.60% management fee, going head-to-head with ChinaAMC’s $SOL ETF. The door is opening wider for regulated capital in Asia, giving SOL’s institutional narrative a solid foothold.

My take: Geopolitical risk premiums aren’t going away anytime soon, and oil and crypto could rise together. But chasing prices now just means holding the door open for someone else. There’s no rush to add until prices pull back; position management will always matter more than direction.
