I was just looking through on-chain data and spotted a familiar face’s position on Hyperliquid. Back in September, NEAR was quietly hovering around $2.35, and this trader went all in on a long position of nearly 5.76 million tokens. Now, less than a month later, it’s shot straight up to $5.85—a gain of over 145%—with unrealized profits easily topping $20 million.

Honestly, every time I see an account holding millions of tokens and sitting on tens of millions in unrealized gains, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, I admire their conviction and execution—the ability to spot a promising blockchain when things were quiet and make a huge bet. On the other, I know full well that the psychological pressure and drawdown risks involved in this kind of high-stakes trading are beyond what most retail investors can imagine. Holding millions of tokens at $2.35 takes more than luck; it takes extraordinary confidence in the macro trends or the flow of capital.

That said, the market never runs out of rags-to-riches stories. What’s in short supply is capital that can keep us in the game. While others are making bank, we’re often left with scraps—or worse, we end up holding the bag.

How much longer do you think this rally can keep going? If you’d bought in at $2.35, would you still be holding now? Let’s talk in the comments.
