After that $1.7 billion ETF inflow surge, the market has clearly cooled off lately. New capital has dried up considerably, with just a few small inflows of tens of millions for several days in a row. But looking back at the weekly chart, we’ve still closed firmly above $83,000. The market may feel sluggish, but the crash the bears keep predicting is nowhere to be seen.

After going through several bull and bear cycles, I’ve long since changed the way I read the market: “pay less attention to sentiment and more to structure.” With ETF buying temporarily weak and market sentiment somewhat indecisive, a lot of people are starting to panic, afraid their gains will slip away. There’s really no need. On the weekly chart, the bulls still have the upper hand. The bears simply don’t have enough chips or selling pressure to turn things around.

I also noticed someone brought up historical cycle patterns and the classic strategy of dollar-cost averaging in the second half of a midterm election year. Looking back at 2018 and 2022, the bottoming and accumulation phases after major drops were often the best times to comfortably DCA into Bitcoin. Every cycle has its own character, of course, but fear and greed in the market always follow the same pattern.

Are you still holding your positions? With the price stuck in this narrow range—not going up or down much—are you planning to keep sitting tight and DCA, or hold onto some USDT in case we get a deeper dip? Share what you’re actually doing in the comments.
