$SUI

Three consecutive bearish candles. Price has been hammered down from 1.13 to 1.0688. The rebound four days ago had just recovered half of the October 8 crash, and now those gains have been given back.

SUI’s blockchain was built by a team from Meta. It uses the Move language, claims to handle 200,000 TPS, and even has futures listed on CME. The technical foundation is there, but the market isn’t trading on technology right now—it’s about where the money is flowing.

First, let’s look at the market signals. The big red candle on October 8 plunged straight from 1.1163 to 1.0261, with 237 million in daily trading volume—the highest volume in nearly 30 candles. Over the next four days, price rebounded to 1.1397, a gain of 13.6%. Then came the current three-candle slide: at 08:00, 12:00, and 16:00 on the 12th, each candle closed lower than the last, with the latest at 1.0688. The 1.0627 support is right below us. If it breaks, the next level down is the 0.9968 wick from October 8.

Market sentiment is on the cool side. The 24-hour drop is 4.91%. Trading volume of 264 million isn’t low, but the funding rate is only 0.0051%, so longs haven’t reached the point of capitulating yet. Sentiment isn’t at an extreme—which is actually the most dangerous time. Panic may be coming, but it hasn’t arrived yet.

The moves by large holders are interesting. That October 8 crash candle saw 237 million in volume—retail traders couldn’t have done that alone. Big money completed a concentrated shift in positions during that move. They sold into the rebound near 1.14, and now the price is retreating in three consecutive bearish candles on declining volume, which suggests selling pressure hasn’t run its course. The volume ratio is 1.03, essentially flat. The big players aren’t running; retail traders are scaring themselves.

Looking at the volume-price structure, the October 8 crash came on huge volume—that wasn’t the bottom. A true bottom needs to form through low-volume consolidation. Volume failed to keep up during the rebound: after October 10, trading volume shrank from 54 million to around 20 million. The latest three bearish candles have seen volume rise again to 40–67 million. Rising volume on a decline is not a good sign; it means someone is actively selling.

Looking at the candle details, the first of the three bearish candles, at 12:00, had 67.1 million in volume; the next two declined to 40.5 million. Downward momentum is fading, but the move isn’t over yet. The 1.0 psychological level is a hurdle on the daily chart. On October 8, price wicked down to 0.9968 and bounced—there’s fear in the market around “breaking 1.”

Nini’s plan: The current price is 1.0688, right on top of support at 1.0627. Whether it breaks will determine the next move. My view is neutral to bearish. You could cautiously test the 1.065–1.07 range with a small position, with a stop below 1.05. If it breaks 1.06, don’t add to the position. The rebound target is 1.09–1.10; take profit there and don’t get attached. SUI is currently moving sideways with a weak bias. Until I see a clear reversal signal, I’m choosing to wait.
