🚨 To Binance Management: We demand fairness and transparency, not unjustified penalties!

An open letter to Binance management and all members of the Binance community

Dear Binance Management,

I’m writing this article to express the frustration of several users who are having trouble claiming Red Packet rewards. When they try to claim them, they receive a message saying the system detected unusual activity.

Behind this message are real users, questions awaiting clear answers, and people who want to understand why they were restricted and how they can resolve the problem.

And here an important question arises:

Is it fair for users to remain restricted without sufficient explanation of the reasons, and without an effective path to review and appeal the decision?

First: Security matters, but fairness matters just as much

We understand that Binance seeks to protect its platform from fraud and the misuse of campaigns and rule-violating activities, and we do not oppose taking the necessary measures to protect the platform and its users.

But protecting the platform should not come at the expense of fairness and transparency.

When the system detects unusual activity in an account, the affected user has the right to receive an appropriate explanation for the restriction, to the extent permitted by security considerations, and to be given a real opportunity to have the decision reviewed.

The automated system alert should be the beginning of verification, not the end of the conversation with the user.

Second: Why should compliant users bear the consequences of others’ mistakes?

If it is proven that some accounts misused the red envelopes or violated the participation terms, then it is natural to take appropriate action against the responsible accounts.

But what about the user who believes they did not violate any rule, yet finds themselves barred from claiming rewards?

We are not asking to abolish the rules, nor are we asking to grant anyone special privileges; rather, we are asking for the rules to be applied fairly, with a distinction between proven violations and cases in which the system may have made an error in assessing the activity.

Justice means holding the violator accountable, and it also means giving the affected person a fair chance to prove their case.

Third: The lack of clarification weakens trust

Trust is one of the most important elements on which the relationship between any platform and its user community is built.

When a user encounters a problem and does not receive a clear explanation or a reasonable review timeline, they feel frustrated and their doubts about the future of their account increase.

It is not necessary for every complaint to end with lifting the restriction, but it is necessary for the user to feel that their complaint is being reviewed seriously, and that there is a clear path to understand the decision and appeal it when needed.

Clear communication and effective review do not protect the user alone; they also strengthen the platform’s credibility and the community’s trust in it.

Fourth: Our demands to Binance management

We call on Binance management and the relevant support teams to consider the following demands:

1. Review affected accounts: examine cases whose owners believe they were restricted by mistake.

2. Explain the reasons for the restriction: provide a clear explanation to the user while preserving the confidentiality of sensitive security details.

3. Provide genuine human review: give the user an opportunity to request a review from a specialized team when they believe the automated decision is incorrect.

4. Set a reasonable response time: do not leave users waiting in uncertainty without knowing the next steps.

5. Apply proportionate and fair measures: take appropriate action when a violation is confirmed, and correct errors when review reveals them.

These are not extraordinary demands, but a call for clear and fair procedures that respect both the platform and its users.

Fifth: Our message to Binance leadership

To Binance management,

Your community is not just numbers, accounts, and transactions; it is made up of people who dedicate their time to the platform, participate in its campaigns, share content, and contribute to the growth of its community.

And they have the right to find someone who listens to their concerns and handles them seriously.

We are not asking Binance to abandon its security systems, but rather that these systems be paired with transparency, fairness, and the ability to review decisions.

The platform’s strength is measured not only by its ability to detect violations, but also by its ability to be fair to the user who may be harmed by an incorrect decision.

If a user violates the rules, their case should be investigated and the appropriate action taken. If a user is restricted by mistake, they should be given a real chance to correct it.

No compliant user should feel unable to defend their position simply because the system classified their activity as unusual.

📢 Our final message: we hope our voice reaches Binance management

We ask Binance management to look into the red envelope issue, review affected cases, and provide a clear and effective mechanism for submitting complaints and objections.

Our goal is not confrontation with the platform, but reaching a fair solution.

We believe that security and fairness can go together, that transparency builds trust, and that listening to users is an essential part of developing any successful platform.

We demand three clear things: fairness, transparency, and real action to solve the problem.

📢 We call on all users facing the same problem to share their experiences respectfully, and to repost this article widely so that our voice reaches Binance management and the teams responsible for reviewing these restrictions.

One post may open the door to dialogue, and our combined voices may help draw attention to the problem.

Together, we can call for fair treatment and a more transparent and just community.
