Bottom line: OGNUSDT perpetuals are up about 18% over 24 hours, but the rally is still in a highly volatile phase without confirmation from a completed close. The intraday high of 0.03953 USDT is immediate resistance, while the latest completed 4-hour candle closed at 0.03327. Unless price can hold above the high zone, chasing the rally offers an unfavorable risk-reward ratio.

As of 01:56 Beijing time on October 13, 2026, Binance futures data shows OGNUSDT at around 0.03906, with a 24-hour high of 0.03953, a low of 0.03011, and trading volume of about 53.45 million USDT. Spot is around 0.03932, up about 18.11% over 24 hours, with a spot high of 0.03988. The spot price is currently above the futures mark price of 0.03905. Spot strength is a fact, but it does not by itself mean the trend has reversed.

Trading volume is the most striking change in this rally. The most recently closed 4-hour candle, from 20:00 to 24:00, closed at 0.03327, with a volume of approximately 173 million OGN. The 00:00–04:00 candle currently forming has already recorded intraday volume of more than 760 million OGN. However, this candle has not closed yet, and the surge in volume and price could both reverse before the close, so it is too early to call this a “high-volume breakout.”

Leverage is also picking up again. The current number of open contracts is approximately 207.5 million OGN, up about 2.75% from approximately 201.9 million in a public snapshot taken about an hour earlier. The notional value of open interest has also risen from approximately 6.896 million USDT. Rising prices alongside increasing OI indicate greater participation from new positions; however, OI itself does not distinguish between longs and shorts. The faster the rise, the more important it is to guard against liquidations in both directions if positions become crowded.

The latest funding rate is approximately -0.255% per settlement period, and the mark price is below the index price. A negative funding rate usually indicates greater payment pressure on the short side in perpetual futures pricing, but it is not a buy signal: if the price pulls back, negative funding cannot prevent long positions from being stopped out; if the price continues to rise, the funding rate may also reprice quickly.

Watch for three confirmations going forward: First, can the 4-hour candle close above 0.03953 and then contend with resistance near the spot price of 0.03988? Second, after breaking above that level, will OI increase moderately rather than spike and then fall back? Third, on a retest, can the price hold the close of the most recently completed 4-hour candle at 0.03327? If the price falls below 0.03327 while OI remains high, leverage may not be exiting in time; if OI falls rapidly, it would look more like positions unwinding after a price spike. The low of the previous 4-hour candle, 0.03099, can serve as a lower risk reference level.
